We've been getting messages and random comments about the semi-artistic... letter box frames that are in Gunslinger Girl. To put it simply,this isn't one of our creations. It was part of the original raw and as a reslt, we have no reason to nor will we remove it from the raw and replace it with a solid black border.

The borders, to some people, give a sort of 3rd person feel, as if you're watching a movie of a movie. Whether this is an intentional or accidental effect, who knows. Either way, if you hate the borders, try to live with it, since that's where we're putting those subtitles so we don't cover up the moving art.
