It was Assmo's turn to make a newspost, but apparently he's far too lazy. Episode 9 starts a brand new loli arc, and as we all know, you can't go wrong with lolis and death.

Re: Higurashi Episode 9
"You can't go wrong with lolis and death," huh...? Actually, I assure you that it is quite possible to go VERY wrong with lolis and death. Need I say more...? |

Re: Higurashi Episode 9
More like you can't go wrong with mahjong. Grrr...I appreciate the work the-triad does, but..not subbing an episode of Akagi since about July 23rd is a little extreme. Loli and death are the LAST two things I'd like to see. Hence why I don't watch this anime, but..*sighs* oh well..I guess I'll just mind my business and go back to holding up my sign =/ *goes back out on the sidewalk, giving a hitchhiker gesture while holding a cardboard sign in his other hand which reads, "Akagi or bust!"* I have a feeling this is going to be a looooooooong walk... |

Re: Higurashi Episode 9
Well as an ep of Higurashi was finished yesterday, that means Labaa's exams are over so we can expect and ep of akagi "soon" |

"but..not subbing an episode of Akagi since about July 23rd is a little extreme." Man, you must be new around here. Get patient, or get off. |

Re: Higurashi Episode 9
Nah..actually I'm not new =/. I was just tired of keeping quiet about this. But you say, "get patient" or "get off"? Ummm..excuse me, but..after seeing this group fansub episodes maybe one week apart, MAYBE two weeks, then finally encounter one that's nearly taken them a month to finish, but yet, they continue working on their other projects, I believe I have been patient. Pfft. I hate to break it to you, but not all reply will be positive feedback -_-. You can't just honestly expect to continuously hear good comments about projects you are working on. You have to be prepared for negative feedback as well...and OBVIOUSLY...if a fansubbing group doesn't sub the next episode of this one project for like, a month or longer (it will be a month on August 23rd), but continues fansubbing the rest of their projects on a regular basis..then yes..obviously..someone is going to get "impatient" or upset. |

Re: Higurashi Episode 9
You'll note that our faster moving project (Bokura) is translated by Drago, and the slower ones at this point are done by Labaa. It's not as if we're blatantly ignoring Akagi and Higu, but we can only work with the scripts we're getting. Expect a new ep of Akagi soon. On the other hand, we generally do blatantly ignore Ryu, except on those times when the planets align just right. |

Re: Higurashi Episode 9
Sure you're new, otherwise you'd know that Akagi's already seen -several- gaps of around a month (if you're dying to count down for a record, the longest was April 4th - May 12th between 6 and 7), and in every case the Triad (I'm just another leecher, for whatever it's not worth) has released several episodes of other series. And Triad too used to positive feedback? Let's just leave that one to stare at. |

Positive feedback is too boring. Why do you think we make those inflammatory newsposts? |

Re: Higurashi Episode 9
Who cares about Higurashi subbed by Triad anyway? You guys are the ONLY TEAM out there who is subbing Akagi and... you are not subbing an episode from july 23? I guess that was "normal" if you guys were in holiday or something like that, but you aren't, you are subbing other anime EXCEPT Akagi. That's just stupid. We got WinD for higurashi you know, at this rate i'm going to wait for other teams to pick up Akagi. One month and not an episode... bah |

Who cares about Higurashi subbed by Triad anyway? People in Triad. Since that's really the only target audience for our releases, that's good enough for us! |

Re: Higurashi Episode 9
Oh yeah..I'm new alright...so new, I know that Akagi has been finished airing on tv in Japan since March. Comeon..seriously. Whatever, all-in-all..I guess instead of complaining about this, I should be glad that The-Triad is actually working on this project, since nobody else is. |
