Also, you don't "owe" anyone a translation, yes, but despite what 4chan might have also been saying about yesy/speedsubs/ZOMG NANOHA/etc, you've got more people, way more people waiting for your translations than you can imagine. I've definitely heard of quite a few myself. And also, this is a rather lame attempt at hoping you'll change your mind, but -- hold a poll at least. Ask everyone what they think about it instead of acting on the "feeling" that Nanoha sucks. This would be a first in terms of dropping a series because it "sucks"?
