Shame you don't really care about people outside the US, and a shame you think it's a good thing for the anime industry to import US DVDs to Europe when it is so clearly counterproductive for Europeans so far as Euro anime releases go, but in the long run it's probably better for fansubs generally if you cover your arses. Hate to see you made into a test case over a series as basically unimportant as this one. If Funimation took you to court, you'd probably have finished your prison sentences before you managed to find the time to plead 'not guilty' =P
