Very great to see you with a new release, and for I liked Kaiji so much I'm glad you're doing it. And is there really a Kaiji S2? That would be too great. Actually, yes, you COULD count it as only Chi Toitsu (seven pairs, worth 2 han), but it is worth more to count it as Ryan Peikou (worth 3 han).

Ii (one) Peikou (three consecutive pairs, or a pair of similar straight sequences, ie 2p2p3p3p4p4p) is worth 1 han.

Ryan (two) Peikou is two sets of three consecutive pairs, or double that (ie 2p2p3p3p4p4p5s5s6s6s7s7s).

So Triad did NOT screw up there, nor did the people who worked on the OVA.
