The Triad is a digisub (digital fansubbing) group which strives to bring you quality digitally fansubbed anime as it becomes available in Japan. We do straight Japanese to English translations, no nonsense or bullshit. We try to balance quality and speed of releases, since either extreme is no good:
* Extreme quality usually involves translating and subbing every little bit and comes down to "Really Soon(tm)" and never gets released.
* Extreme speed usually comes down to barely readable, fugly yellow subs in Engrish that give you a splitting headache afterwards and make you want to hate anime forever.
The Triad was originally a joint project between Anime-Fansubs@EFnet, NewLifeAnime, and Ishin-Anime, with Azumanga Daioh as our first group digisub production. But since we got tired of referring to ourselves as [A-F & Ishin & NLA], we simplified the name down to just The Triad. In time, though, the joint became its own group, and the members broke off from the original three groups to form the single cohesive Triad you all know and love. The best of the best... well, at least we hope, after all this time... ;)

Back to topThis is quite possibly the most annoying question we get. Listen: we don't drop projects unless they become licensed (or if it's a shitty show like Nanoha). We also release at our own pace, so we won't be racing any other groups who happen to be doing the same show as us. If you can't wait a few extra days sometimes to get the latest ep, go find it somewhere else. Rest assured, we will release it eventually, and our version will be the superior one.

Back to topNo, we no longer distribute these eps, therefore they are no longer supported by us. Think of licensed anime as out of print software. It's no longer in distribution, so why should we care about them anymore? :P Secondly, these are licensed. We strongly encourage you to support the companies who make these shows and buy the dvds when they are available. Don't have money? Get a job!

You don't. Fansubbing is supposed to be a free service. That's how it was, that's how it is.
On top of that, if people started paying us we'd actually have an obligation to finish things on time, and that just can't happen.
Because you guys have bad taste. Just because it's loli or no one's doing it doesn't mean we'll pick it up.
