Guess what we got for you to start your Thanksgiving weekend? Kaiji 1 is out in record time and this is just as good as Akagi. Everyone thought it was going to be out next year, didn't they?
So, it's the same nose stabbing goodness without Mahjong. Granted, Kaiji's not a badass like Akagi, but he's the ultimate NEET.
So, now you're wondering, why am I posting? I guess it's so you whiners have a target to attack when the show won't work on your computers again. It's not my fault anyway; your computer just can't take the awesomeness that is Fukumoto.
CRC: 7216E69F || Size: 244174660
P.S. It's the Thanksgiving weekend in Canada, so blow me. Also, all the raws for Fukumoto's shows suck.

I wonder.. if the file sizes can be reduced later on... But anyway, a BIG THANK YOU for subbing this! I love Akagi a lot, so I'm gonna trust the mangaka on Kaiji too. =) |

ss: Yes. Because insulting your superiors is the ultimate way to get them to do what you want! You: Could I get a raise? Boss: No. I'm already paying you $30 an hour. You: You're a fucking retard. Boss: How's an extra $5 sound?! Yeah, not likely. Go now, and come back in a little while with a properly structured argument for why a second AVI release should be made that provides solid examples of why it would be in the Triad's best interests to do dual encode releases. Because frankly, the AVI community is getting beat down by the MKV community pretty hard as far as arguments go. Not because the MKV folks are stubborn, but because they're generally being more logical about it. |

The avi/xvid people probably want their version because of standalone compatibility, not having a good enough computer or both. |

>>the AVI community is getting beat down by the MKV community pretty hard as far as arguments go What the fuck? This is more retarded than the Blu-Ray/Hi-Def format wars. |

@3118: That's not an accurate analogy, since Blu-Ray and Hi-Def formats were developed in parallel by competing companies. mkv's are being used now to capitalize on the H264 codec which does not function properly when in an avi format. H264 was developed as a _successor to_ and an improvement upon the old divx/xvid codecs, increasing video quality and decreasing file size, at the cost of increasing processor load. Since one (h264, which requires mkv or mp4 format) is the predecessor of the other (divx/xvid, which is used in avi), it cannot be compared to Blu-Ray and HDDVD, as those were divergently developed at the same time as direct competition. Admittedly, the mkv format has been around as long as the avi format has, and they were indeed competing formats, but the real issue is the codecs being used, not the format. And one codec is clearly superior to the other. |

I meant to say successor instead of predecessor there... |
