4660: No, Rock Scissors Paper there were extra conditions which made it possible to play it on a whole different level. There was a big spectre of actions you could take. In e-card, all you can do is think "Right.. he is going to play Emperor now because <insert-reason-here>.. But that's what he wants me to think so he'll not do it! Or does he think that I would think that he wants me to think that and play the Emperor now anyway? Ahh fuck it, I'll just play whatever". |

Akagi would bet all the mm left, his eyes, and also include Tonegawa's arms as part of the bet :) |

Goddammit but the cliffhangers hurt so good ;_; Also, I agree with .4655. Akagi should have burst in, beaten them all up, and taken their lunch money. It's pretty interesting to watch the two of them - for Akagi, it's "How's he going to win this time?" but for Kaiji, it's "How's he going to hopefully survive with all vitals intact this time?" |

yeah Akagi was the real deal.. this dude is just trying to pull it through and thinks he's hardcore. Kaiji thinks about the logical solution where as Akagi thinks about the solution that would make him win a high-stakes game with 0.001% chance and make him look super bad-ass. they're almost complete opposites as gamblers. Akagi has more balls, Kaiji has more erm.. humanity? |

>4678 Akagi has balls the size of cantaloupes, there is no question of that. But don't discount Kaiji. Akagi knows exactly what his opponent is doing and so its not so scary. Kaiji is betting a 1cm of his ear in a game he has just started playing again the experienced Tonegawa. That takes guts. |

It seems that Akagi doesn't necessarily have guts. Akagi's a monster. He's beyond having guts or being ballsy or anything like that. He simply knows and acts accordingly. Kaiji, on the other hand, is human and is scared and inexperienced. He has a ton of fucking guts, compared to normal people. |

If Akagi showed up, I bet it wouldn't be to save Kaiji. He'd just sit there and watch poor Kaiji get tortured so he could figure out Tonegawa's strategy and crush him later >:) |

E Card is great
I am started playing this game with my little sister with some standard cards (low numbers beeing citizens and pictures beeing either king or slave). Homerules are you got to answer a question when looking at your card before placing it (eg. "will you play the king?"). As my sister is really bad at lieing this game is not about luck at all =) |
