Has anyone else noticed that Akagi gambled for thrice the chairman's bet against Urabe and no one seemed to care? Hell, he plans to win fifty times it off Washizu. Kaiji's sum is piddling.

Some of it's being spoiled like the word used to mean - we've gotten so used to anime that's being subbed now to being subbed within days of it's release in Japan. Teh Triad is the onny group that WAS subbing it...

I onny learned how to do all this like last year - and after spending 6 months watching a gazillion shows as they were being released decided that was lunacy, especially since there's such a back log of shows to watch that are already subbed. So this season was much more selective and GSG Il Tea was one of like onny four shows I was watching as they were being released. And then...Triad stopped releasing them! :|

Two more things and then I'll uresei. There's a onny a VeRy small handfull of anime that I actually bought - AND bought the manga for (well, some of it). And Gunslinger Girl I have both. I'm not one of these people that have a whole wall filled with an anime collection. Funny thing is - certain anime I could go on and on and on about why I got into it and why it resonates so much with me - Gunslinger Girl is pretty much a mystery even to myself as to why.

Maybe it's the contrast between the demeanor of the teh girls most of the time - and then the uber violence? Dunno - and how much of it is the travelogue to Italy as well.

If Kaiji's content went unedited and an American television studio filmed it live-action, it'd be the show of the season, easy. It's amazing how even in the anime community so many people don't even give Kaiji a fair try just because of Fukumoto's lack of drawing skills.

Finally gave in and watched the raw of Gunslinger Girl Il Teatrino ep 06. It's still not past where I stopped reading the manga - soz I was able to follow what was going on tho not understanding hardly a word of moon speak.

Dunno why you ever stopped - or, uh. Are doing this great big pause before continuing. Also - dun really know why I'm so into it - but with all these other shows that are being subbed that I could care less about, it's kind of teh s uck
