One day the professor did not return from work and Hachiko waited at the station wondering where his master went. Unbeknown to the dog, his master has suffered a deadly stroke while at work. Hachiko was given away after his masters death to various people... But everytime, Hachiko would escape and return to Shibuya station, waiting for his master to arrive... He did this everyday for 10 years till he died on March 8, 1935.

Yeah, You can stay without internet for months and they will still wait for you and not release anything, not because they're lazy, slow or - who knows - suddenly got a life, but because they CARE FOR YOU!

No. 9612's comment reminded moi of the story about Hachiko, the Japanese dog that waited for his master at the train station everyday for 10 years.

Hachiko, another story

Now my question to all you sirs, who claim to have the same story.

Did your country build a statue for this noble dog at the most crowded place in the country?

welp

"It is true that the dog kept coming to the station after the owner passed. However, the main reason for his coming to the spot was that there was a meat store nearby and the master of the store knew both the dog and the professor very well, kept feeding the dog from time to time. When the Japanese Army heard the topic, they distorted the fact and made a story about the faith of the dog to the owner, attempting to educate Japanese citizens to have faith to the Emperor and the country."

loyal dog...... not so much

in other words the analogy works out like this:

triad = professor

anonymous = hachiko

the-triad.org = meat store

fansubs = meat

Your source? US World War II propaganda...?? After all, the amis won...

@9654

scrap the meat store, if there was a meat store owner feeding the dog the anology wouldn't hold to here

>>Your source?

quoted some guy on imdb forums

propoganda theory holds water imo due to the timeline in which the hachiko event occured (1925-1935) and japan's surrender in wwii (1945)

>>scrap the meat store

was sort of meant as a joke (was gonna reply with punchline about triad (meat store) ain't giving out any meat (fansubs) once someone pointed out the intentionally flawed analogy)

So the Triad has never been alive until tomorrow!
