After many days of asking our site admin to add a SIMPLE PICTURE, we bring you this Akagi picture on the left. I haven't looked at it yet since I only have this useless text box to type into. But I can assure you whatever's in that picture space is better than the show.
Episode 2 was out a while ago, if you survived and by some weird reason liked what you saw go get it.

As much as I would like to blame just Labaamen for this shit, I will extend the blame to everyone in our group.
With that aside, welcome to our new show in the Triad line-up: Akagi.
With the “distinct” art style by a character designer with no eyes and a ruler who has a weird fascination with the moon, this is an anime about Go..err... Mahjong. Since there are very similar points between Hikaru no Go and this show, you should have no problem watching it… if you survive their Escaflowne-type noses.
Oh, who am I kidding, this show is for crackheads. Everyone except Labaa made fun of this to no end, mainly to escape the horrible impression the artwork has left on us. It does have it’s good points though, mainly the opening song, and the last frame of each episode. Those, however, are quickly cancelled out by the ending, the first frame of each episode, the content, and whatever else in between.
Still, you should watch it, because we slaved over the first episode and are willing to subject ourselves to the other 25 coming up. Besides, how can you say no to this face.
