5:26 - Apparently, this is some sick parody of Franz Kafka's "The Metamorphosis." The original is about a man named Gregor Samsa being transformed into a bug. Read more about the story here.

6:02 - Corpus cavernosum... is, uh... this.

8:55 - One of the book titles here is Caligula, who was appropriately one of the more delightfully disturbed historical figures in Ancient Rome. Continuing with the Wikipedia linkage, educate yourself here.

14:31 - Dokuro turns Sakura into Captain Matthew Perry, probably best known for his forcing Japan to open up to the rest of the world. This is a pretty important event in Japanese history, so if you don't know much about it, read up here.

16:47 - "Sure, You Can Laugh!" (<i>Waratte Iitomo</i>) is a very famous comedy show in Japan that airs at noon and is an hour long. The show is about a group of celebrities standing on stage and goofing around for a few hours through skits and songs.

23:45 - Disturbing parody of the classic <i>A Dog of Flanders</i>. The original is a touching story about a boy named Nello and his dog, Patrasche. The "famous last scene" Sakura mentions is when both the boy and his dog are found <i>dead</i> (ZOMG SPOILARZ). Anyway, story synopsis here.

26:11 - The very last line is a weird one. In Japanese, Dokuro says "nyokisuku de doku doku!" Our bitch of a translator Labaamen has this to say on the subject:

Nyokisuku: It's actually 『nyokisuku~( ≧▽≦)ノ♪』. It is used commonly as a salutation on Chiba Saeko's website. (Chiba Saeko is Dokuro’s voice actress.) It comes from "nyokinyokisukusuku sodachimasuyouni" (which basically means "to grow up in good health"). And through that, it's used as "Hello, how are you" (this bitch is on crack). Combine that with "doku doku" being the sound effect for intense hemorrhaging, you get our last line.
