Happy Chinese New Year! It's the year of the pig, which means lots of ham and pork chops at the big banquets in chinatowns across the country. Millions of dollars are being passed around from the poor workers onto their huge families and on TV the Chinese get to show off their horribly choreographed dances on a giant stage in the middle of Beijing.
Yes, I made a news section specifically for this this year. Normally, we don't celebrate other countries' holidays, but seeing as how our group is ethnically balanced between dirty white people and fobby chinamen, I decided to make a newspost about it. Also, the reason why I haven't made one sooner is because until just a few months ago this site was being run by a white person. Pfft, what do they know.
Of course, one thing we all (and by all, I mean Labaamen, aceleader, and I) enjoy about Chinese new years is those red envelopes full of cash from our families and close Chinese friends (with the exception of Labaa, but the hate is mutual so that's okay).
